Perhaps the only thing we love more than shopping is sharing our new finds with you. This week, celebrity stylist Anita Patrickson shares her favorite almost-neutral-but-not-quite luxe addition to her closet, plus our editors rounded up the calorie-burning leggings, best bridesmaid gifts and sharp statement jewelry that you need to see right now.

Rennie Dyball, Senior Editor: I used to think there was nothing more difficult than dressing a very pregnant belly. Turns out, there is: Getting dressed three months after having a baby. And the frustration spans the whole closet, from work clothes to workout wear.
Since my Facebook news feed was flooded with ads for Zaggora HotPants (gym capris that claim to burn more calories for you since they make you hot, hot, hot) I decided to take them for a spin. Of course, there’s no way to know for sure whether the pants are helping me get back into my pre-pregnancy jeans, but they do excel at making me sweat … and holding me in.
I get in cardio just trying to squeeze into these neoprene capris (as suitable for scuba diving as for the Stairmaster) and they truly flatter and support areas that are a little softer than you’d like them to be. Maybe that’s why wearers say they lose more weight in Zaggora — when you feel good in your workout gear, it’s easy to log those extra miles.

Anita Patrickson, celebrity stylist: I recently purchased this oversized J Brand pale pink leather jacket and I have fallen completely in love! Paired with my cropped skinny jeans, an elegant pump and my favorite white tee…so simple.
I can wear this during the day for meetings and then skip straight out for drinks with the gals. It’s perfect for Fall without feeling too dark and heavy. I also love that I can wear it like a cape over my shoulders and be comfortable and chic all at once.
Anita Patrickson has styled celebrities including Emma Watson, Julianne Hough and Nina Dobrev and blogs here. See what else she’s loving on Twitter and Facebook.

Andrea Lavinthal, Style Director: My best friend is getting married in December and we threw her a bridal shower this past weekend. I was actually a little bummed when she told me she didn’t want to open gifts in front of everyone.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a big fan of cookware and serving platters (how many cheese plates does one person really need?). It was because my presents (yes, I’m such a stellar maid-of-honor that I got her two things) were so fun, I wanted all her guests to see them.
Gift #1: I know the fancy-schmancy heels she bought to go with her wedding gown are going to kill her feet, so I picked up a pair of ivory glitter wedge TOMS that she can change into for the reception.
Gift #2: I also got her a classic train case from Henri Bendel featuring the store’s signature brown-and-white stripes for her honeymoon. It has room for all her toiletries and will look super-chic in the hotel bathroom.

Alex Apatoff, Style News Editor: “Our waitress’s necklace is really cool,” my husband said to me over Mai Tais in Hawaii this weekend. “Wait, you like it too?” I asked. “In that case, we have to find out where to get it.” He and I have very different taste in jewelry, so reaching any kind of consensus is a life-altering event. After flagging her down (and assuring her I was asking for professional reasons, not just being a creep) we had another stop on our Big Island road trip.
She sent us to Elements in Hawi, which carries tons of gorgeous island-inspired jewelry and other one-of-a-kind finds. This particular necklace, by Salty Girl Jewelry in Oahu, is made of sea urchin spines cast in brass and sterling. I loved how it looked alone, but I can’t wait to layer some more delicate pieces above it. That is, when I can wear it again. For now, it’s going back in its box to open at Christmas, at which point I’ll definitely be ready for a little island reminder.
