If you are reading this from a tent line outside Best Buy or while fighting with another lady over the last sequin sweater, you hardly need us to tell you that it’s Black Friday. But if you’re thinking about braving the mall (or doing a little bargain hunting online), you’re likely wondering where to start. Since we think about shopping all day, every day (hey, we get paid to do it!) we’ve been planning our first Black Friday stop for a week — here’s what we’ll be adding to our closets barring any dressing room altercations. Check them out, then tell us about your best Black Friday bargains in the comments below!

Alex Apatoff, Style News Editor: After years of loving dangly, sparkly chandeliers, I’ve suddenly turned against them entirely. But with holiday party season coming up, I’m in need of something a little dressier than my favorite studs. Leave it to Jennifer Lawrence to solve my jewelry dilemma. Spotting her in these Graziela Gems “Black Wave” earrings made me instantly crave them for my dressier nights out, but at $290, they remained squarely in “wish list” territory.
However, scoring 20% off on Friday and Monday with code “BLACKFRIDAY20″ knocks $60 off the price — still not inexpensive, but they move from “In your dreams” to “Early Christmas gift, Mom and Dad?” which is good enough for me. Then I’m spending the rest of the day eating leftovers and trying to get someone to watch Love, Actually with me.

Andrea Lavinthal, Style Director: I’m addicted to Shop It to Me, a site that notifies you when your favorite brands or a specific item is on sale somewhere online. The last email I received alerted me to the existence of this black Theory dress, which I definitely need to own (it’ll fit in so well with the four other black dresses just like it in my closet!).
It’s been marked down 40% all week at Bloomingdale’s, which would normally be considered a good deal, but I decided to hold out for Black Friday, despite the fact that it might be reduced even more but potentially not available in my size. I woke up this early this morning to see if I made the right decision. Did I? Stay tuned for the exciting conclusion. (And if you aren’t as patient as I am, get thee to a Bloomingdale’s right now — they’re having crazy sales until 1 p.m.)

Zoë Ruderman, Senior Style Editor: I own the bras, I own the underwear, I own the shapewear and now, my quest for Cosabella domination will finally be realized when I get this nightshirt from my favorite lingerie and loungewear brand. They are having a Black Friday sale, but I’m waiting for Monday, when everything will be 25% off with code “CYBER25″ — making this little number $84.
I checked out the nightshirt in store before ordering and can vouch that it’s as soft as they describe it online. The satin piping, tailored silhouette and hot-pink shade keep it from feeling like a frumpy nightgown from some miserable 1997 sitcom about marriage. (It also helps to refer to it as a nightshirt and not a nightgown. I learned that the hard way.)

Whitney Little, Associate Producer: I recently jumped on board the Clarisonic train (about time, right?), and I’ve been obsessed with my Aria ever since. You know who else is obsessed with my Aria? My little sister, my mom, my best friend, the list goes on.
Unfortunately, my bank account can’t justify spending $200 on each of them. But great news: b-glowing.com is offering 20% off all orders over $50 on Cyber Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, making the $99 Clarisonic MiaFirst only $80! Which means my favorite ladies will be happy this holiday season, and so will my wallet.

Brittany Talarico, Associate Style Editor: The women in my family are total Black Friday shoppers. No, we don’t pitch tents outside Walmart and wait for the big screen TV giveaways. But it’s a tradition to take a trip to our local NJ mall, because you seriously can’t beat the department store deals. So I always make sure to do some recon and map out what I plan to buy.
First on my list, this army green canvas coat from Old Navy. Do I need it? Not really, but it’s going to be an additional 50% off. (So basically, free). In fact, everything at Old Navy in honor of Black Friday is an extra 50% off. It’s a good time to stock up on some basics. I also plan to do some damage at Macy’s. The store’s sale starts Thanksgiving day at 8 p.m. (here’s One Direction with a reminder!) and all women’s apparel is 30% off. I’ll probably make a beeline to the Rachel Roy section. This color block dress has been on my radar for a few weeks now. I already plan to wear it with tights, a blazer and boots to work on Monday!
